Daughter donates Kidney to Mother

When Brenda Green found out that her mother needed a kidney transplant, she wanted to help her anyway that she could. She was very pleased with her decision and has never regretted the fact that she donated one of her kidneys. She would do it all over again if it meant that she could save someone's life.

Brenda says the whole experience was made easier because of the excellent bedside manner of Dr. Miguel West. She says that he was very knowledgeable and completely explained the procedure to her, her mother and husband in words they could understand. She also appreciated the kindness of the hospital staff, who were friendly, courteous and assisted in every possible way during their stay at the hospital.
