Additional tests which may be required during the evaluation process for a SPK include:

• Eye exam to determine the level of functional vision.
   
  
• VCUG (Voiding cystourethrogram)
   
  
• Tests for reflux (back flow of urine into the kidney) and the capacity of the bladder to hold urine. Evaluates the urethra and verifies if urine can pass freely.
   
  
• If the candidate has been on dialysis for 5 years or more, an abdominal ultrasound is required.
