When Lisa’s headache continued for three days, her younger sister, Lynn, talked her into going to the Emergency Room. It may have saved both of their lives.

She got them every day and usually had a few migraines each month. She didn’t think much of it – blaming allergies and her sinuses, someone’s perfume or hairspray. She took a few Tylenol® and suffered through the pain.

Then, in May 2002, she got a shooting headache that lasted for three days. Her sister, Lynn, had a feeling something might be seriously wrong, so she talked Lisa into going to the Emergency Room of a local hospital. It was a good thing; Lisa had two brain aneurysms, one which had ruptured.
