When Domenic from Trenton learned a large pituitary tumor was growing inside his skull, he turned to the nationally recognized neurosurgeons at Harper University Hospital for a new minimally invasive neurosurgical procedure.
Domenic had just finished rowing in the Detroit River with the Wyandotte Boat Club when he slipped on the dock and hit his head on an aluminum boat. It knocked him out cold, which may have been the best thing that ever happened to him.
As a result of the fall, he went to a local community hospital where they performed a CT scan. That’s when they discovered a large mass – a tumor – inside his skull.
