Dr. Watson is the Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Wayne State University. He specializes in epilepsy; hippocampal sclerosis; lesional epilepsy; neuroimaging in epilepsy, especially quantitative volumetric MRI of medial temporal structures.
He is board certified in Neurology and serves as a Professor of Neurology for Wayne State University School of Medicine and an Associate Professor of Anatomy for the Wayne State University Department of Anatomy.
His honors include:
- American Neurological Association, Elected Member;
- Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society, University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, 1977;
