Dr. Johnstone is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Association of Black Cardiologists and the American College of Physicians. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, receiving degrees in Zoology, Biology and Medicine. He completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich. and an Internal Medicine Residency at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Calif. He also received fellowship training in Cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
