Delair O.
Gardi, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine,
Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. He serves as Chief
of Cardiology at Detroit Receiving Hospital. He also serves as Director of the
Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Harper University Hospital / Detroit Medical
Center.
He is a clinician, researcher and educator whose work has been published in
The Journal of Heart Disease and presented at many meetings and conferences.
Dr. Gardi has performed a large number of diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
as well as other interventions, including various peripheral interventions. With
significant experience at a cardiac transplant center, he has performed a large
number of right heart catheterizations (Swan-Ganz) and biopsies.
Being board certified in Nuclear Cardiology, he is also experienced in
performing and interpreting nuclear cardiology studies. In addition, Dr. Gardi
is a pioneer in the use of robotic telecommunication technology to treat
patients and provide consultations via remote locations.
